Monday, January 26, 2015 - Day A
1) Hempstead High School Open House is tonight, January 26th from 7 to 8:30 p.m. starting in the North Gym. Dubuque Senior High School Open House is tonight, January 26th beginning at 7 p.m. at the Senior High Nora Gym.2) Hempstead strength and conditioning coach, Nathan Oswalt is hosting a free “middle school strength clinic”. Any 7th or 8th grade boy or girl is welcome to attend. Session begin at 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting January 27th. See Mr. Hatcher for more details or ask your homebase teacher.
3) Sports Today - Boys Basketball...Jefferson Red vs. Drexler Red. 7th grade at Drexler and 8th grade at Jefferson; both games begin at 4 p.m.
4) Students are reminded, if you are attending an after school sporting event, you are not allowed to hang around school till game begins. You must leave school grounds at 2:30 then return when game starts at 4:00 p.m. One option would be to attend a LEAP activity till the game begins.
5) Chess Club will NOT meet on Wednesday, January 28th from 3-4 p.m. It has been rescheduled to Wednesday, February 4th.
