TJMS Student Announcements - Wednesday, April 13, 2016 -- Day B
1) Birthdays Today - April 13th...Aubri Kennedy, Kayla Walker.
2) Our school is in a contest for a grant for money to get a greenhouse and more hydroponics, but it requires a vote. You can vote once a day between now and April 18. Please vote, vote often, and share! Thanks!!! https://www.seedsofchangegrant.com/GalleryDetail.aspx?id=2225
3) 9th Annual Dubuque Senior High School Rams Cheerleading Day Camp is Saturday, April 30th from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Stop by the Main Office to pick up a registration form; April 19th is the last day for registration.
4) On Wednesday, April 27th there is a player and parent meeting for any girl interested in playing softball this summer for Senior. The meeting will be at Senior in the cafeteria at 7:00 p.m. and should last about 1 hour. Tryouts for Senior softball for 8th graders will take place beginning Monday, May 9th from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m.
5) Creative Arts will meet Thursday, April 14th.
6) The Hillhawk Herald newspaper will meet Thursday, April 14th.
7) This Friday during lunch we will have another HillsBills raffle. There are again T-shirts, basketballs, water bottles, ect……all kinds of fun stuff. Bring your HillsBills to the lunch room on Friday.
8) The Hard Rocks at Horseshoe Bluff LEAP activity was cancelled due to weather on April 4th, student who signed up for this can go on April 18th. Sign-up after school in cafeteria.
9) Hempstead Lady Stangs will be hosting a basketball camp from June 20th to June 23rd from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. Girls entering 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade are invited. The registration fee is $60. If you would like more information, please stop by the main office.
