2) Hempstead Lady Stangs will be hosting a basketball camp from June 20th to June 23rd from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. Girls entering 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade are invited. The registration fee is $60. If you would like more information, please stop by the main office.
3) The end of the school year is fast approaching. Please bring $12 to the Main Office to reserve a copy of the 2015-2016 memory book.
4) Congratulations to the Jefferson Battle of the Books District Teams 2016. 8th Grade...Sydney Hammel, Faith Jasper, Ashley Klein, Abbi Sarazin. 7th Grade...Jillian Less, Katelynn Harvey, Madalynn Gienau, Izzy Stapleton. 6th Grade...Lucas Federonich, Caleb Stock, Lucy Theisen, Madeline Kuennen, Courtney McMillan. They will be attending the District Battle on Friday May 13th from 9:00 to 11:45! Thank you to all who participated in the Jefferson Battle!
5) Great news! New LEAP programs are being offered. Canvas Oil Painting and a Soccer Agility Class! On Wednesday, April 27th there is a player and parent meeting for any girl interested in playing softball this summer for Senior. The meeting will be at Senior in the cafeteria at 7:00 p.m. and should last about 1 hour. Tryouts for Senior softball for 8th graders will take place beginning Monday, May 9th from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m.
