TJMS Student Announcements - Thursday, January 7, 2016 -- Day A

1) Birthdays Today - January 7th...Nathan Astocondor, Hannah Brown, Kayon DurrahDavis.

2) Any books that were checked out before winter break are now due. Please return or renew in the LRC, as soon as possible. Thank you from the Library staff.

3) No homework help this week. It will start again on Monday, January 11th.

4) The last day to join the basketball team will be this Friday, January 4th. You must have a physical on file to participate, if you need help getting a physical, see Mr. Hatcher.

5) It’s not too late to turn LEAP registration in, registrations forms and brochures are located in the main office. Lots of new and great programs this new year!

6) Just a few reminders for students when attending Dubuque HS events. (Namely basketball) 1)NO BACKPACKS or bags. Those will be taken and stored, just best to not bring them at all. 2)Students are expected to follow school expectations for behavior: No running or loitering in halls; Appropriate cheers for our team, not against the other teams; No foul/abusive language. 3)If students are not complying with our requests by event staff/administration they may be asked to leave and not return. They may also be banned from attending future events.

7) "Internet Safety For Parents And Community" presented by FBI Victim Specialist, Karen Gale will be held today, January 7th at 6:30 p.m. at Washington Middle School Auditorium. The event is FREE and the public is invited to attend.
