2) Anyone interested in trying out for Hempstead’s color guard, try-outs are taking place May 22nd and 27th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the auditorium at Hempstead. The audition will be May 29th from 6:00-7:00 p.m.
3) Track athletes get your uniforms turned in ASAP.
4) Hempstead football coaches will be meeting with interested 8th graders today at 11 a.m. in the auditorium, students please report to homebase first.
5) Hempstead volleyball coaches will be meeting with interested 8th graders today at 11 a.m. in the art room, students please report to homebase first.
6) 6th grade football and volleyball will be practicing today after school.
7) Congratulations to Will Smith, Daquon Lewis, and Jerod Hubanks who hit the game winning shot to win the 6th grade basketball 3 on 3 tournament.
