TJMS Student Announcements - Thursday, September 29, 2016 -- Day A
1) 6th grade boys track will practice today after school.
2) Birthdays Today - September 29th...Cameran Johnson, Jasmine Lewis. September 30th...Andrew Anderson, Kaliena Betwell.
3) Sports Today - 8th Grade Football...Jefferson vs. Washington at Washington beginning at 4:15 p.m. Boys and Girls Cross Country Meet...Meet at Western Dubuque High School at 4:15 p.m.
4) Academic support is being offered for students on a weekly basis at the Multicultural Family Center. For a registration form please stop by the main office.
5) Students are not allowed to attend breakfast if they are not eating. If you go to the breakfast room you need to take a tray with 3 components, just a juice does not count as breakfast. Any issues in breakfast can result with getting assigned a separate room to eat breakfast in. Students need to get to breakfast on time and leave on time as well.
6) Open Gym for girls basketball are the following dates:...October 3rd, 4th and 5th from 4 to 5:45 p.m. in south gym.
7) There will be an informational meeting about Battle of the Books for students who are interested. Grade 7 & 8 will meet in the Library at 8 a.m. on Monday, October 3rd and 6th grade will meet in the Library at 8 a.m. in the Library on Wednesday, October 5th...
8) There will be no school tomorrow, there is a teacher in-service day.
