Student Announcements - Friday, January 24, 2014 - Day B
1) Any girl basketball player planning on attending the Hempstead Varsity basketball game next Tuesday, January 28th please stop by Mr. Hatcher’s office and sign-up.
2) Jefferson Wellness classes are participating in Live Healthy Iowa Kids again this year. The ten week challenge starts on Monday, January 27th. Students are to be recording their fruit servings and activity minutes for the first two weeks on their blue calendars. These are due February 11th to Mrs. Lucas and Mr. Wischmeyer. Any questions, please ask the Wellness teachers.
3) The first rehearsal for the musical, Fiddler on the Roof, is Wednesday, January 29th. This is an early release day, so rehearsal will be from 12:30 to 3:00 p.m. All cast members are required to attend.
4) Birthdays Today - January 24th...Xavier Crowder, Jared Hantelmann. January 25th...Samuel Francis, Mason Henning, Joshua Wharton.
5) Sports Today - Boys Red Basketball...Jefferson Red vs. Washington Blue. 7th grade at Washington and 8th grade at Jefferson; both games begin at 4 p.m.
