Student Announcements - Thursday, December 12, 2013 - Day A
1) There will be a book fair in the Library through Friday, December 13th. The hours are 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
2) Auditions for Jefferson's musical, Fiddler on the Roof will be after school in the Auditorium today and tomorrow, December 13th.
3) Hillhawk helpers meeting tonight in Mr. Bausch’s room.
4) Holiday grams will go on sale Monday Dec. 16th. with cart mart. $0.25 Buy one for your friends, write them some holiday greetings, then put their homebase on card, and on Friday Dec. 20th they will be delivered and get a candy cane.
5) Please remember to save your Box Tops during the holiday baking season. There will be a contest in January.
6) Sports Today - Wrestling...Jefferson vs. Washington vs. Roosevelt vs. Mazzuchelli at Roosevelt beginning at 4 p.m.
7) Wear your Jefferson apparel tomorrow. Every Friday is Hillhawk Spirit Day!Safety and Security Students, please remember to never open a door for anyone to come into the building. If people want to enter the building they will need to buzz the office and identify themselves. If they are Jefferson staff members they should have a prox card that will allow them to enter the building.
Fighting Saints Game Tickets are in for the Jefferson night at the Fighting Saints Game on Friday, January 3rd. The Jefferson Band will be playing that National Anthem and we have a section reserved just for us behind the Fighting Saints Goal for periods 1 and 3. Tickets are $8.50. Any student or parent can buy these tickets. Normal ticket price is $12.95 so we are getting a good deal. Come and join in the fun. If you want us to keep your ticket here at school so you don't lose it, we will do that for you. All checks should be made out to the Dubuque Fighting Saints. Mr. Kramer will pay for any Jefferson Staff member that would like to join us.
Progress reports will be generated on January 8, 2014. That gives you about 14 days to make sure that your grades are all passing. Don't get behind! If you are behind find out what you need to do to get caught up. If you need help we have extra support in the LRC every day after school from 2:30-3:30pm.
