1) S-P-E-L-L-I-N-G B-E-E. If you are a great speller, we want you to represent Jefferson in the Telegraph Herald spelling bee in January at Clarke University. Interested students should contact Ms. Weber to sign up.
2) Are you a creative thinker and like to solve tricky math problems? Do you like to work on a team? Do you want to participate in a math competition? If so, join the TJMS MATHCOUNTS team. MATHCOUNTS Program is a national middle school competitive mathematics program that promotes mathematics achievement through a series of fun and engaging "bee" style contests. If you are interested in participating, contact Mr. Meier, House 8-2 math teacher or Ms. Weber, GT facilitator. Practices will be held after school starting the week of November 19th.
3) Reminder...Distribution of frozen foods from our fall fundraiser is tomorrow, November 15th from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. in Jefferson's back parking lot. Drive-thru...Please drive up and the food products will be placed in your car. No need to even get out of your car.
