Wednesday, November 9, 2011 Day B

1) Today is Day B.

2) Any students interested in representing Jefferson in a Math Competition, practicing higher level math problems, and just learning new math tricks you should join the MATH COUNTS team. Math Counts will meet twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays in Mrs. Henry's room after school. See Mrs. Henry or Mr. Hatcher for more information.

3) Any students interested in participating in eCYBERMISSION this year contact Mrs. Weber or Mrs. McCullough. E-Cybermission is a web-based Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics competition for 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grade teams. Your team will propose a solution to a real problem in your community and compete for Regional and National Awards. E-cybermission will meet after school on Tuesdays. Sign up today!

4) How does a bowling and pizza party sound for you and 9 of your friends? All you have to do is draw a picture or write an essay on completing this phrase..."If I were president......." All entries are due Nov. 9th. See Mr. Hatcher for more details and good luck!
