1. Today is Day A.
2. A reminder from the library, if you checked out a book before spring break, it is now due. Please stop in and return or renew the book. Thank you. Ms. Cairns and Mrs. Neyens.
3. Attention Battle of the Books teams! Please go to the library with your team to take the school battle quiz. This must happen anytime of the day before Friday, March 23.
4. All students are reminded to be logging their physical activity minutes and water/milk servings daily to turn into their wellness teachers for Live Healthy Iowa kids. 5. For the cast of Music Man: There is a music rehearsal every Thursday with Mrs. Oglesby in the choir room. All members of the cast are encouraged to attend. Eat your lunch from 11:00-11:25 and then head to the choir room. All major and minor cast members are supposed to bring their scripts with them to all choir rehearsals. Thank you.
6. Hempstead Fall Cheerleading will have a mandatory preseason tryout meeting on Monday, March 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the Hempstead Auditorium. Any questions, please contact Coach Kress at 552-8027.
7. Attention all 7th grade students: The Visiting Nurses Assoc. will have a free Dental Sealant Program at Jefferson on Friday, March 23. This includes a dental exam and application of preventive dental sealants. Consent forms are available.

Kids In The Kitchen Kids in the kitchen crew will be filming on Thursday, March 22nd. Students involved should report to the main office at the beginning of the day Thursday.
6th Grade Basketball: 6th grade girls basketball practice today after school until 4:00.
7-8th grade track Track practice for 7th and 8th girls and boys
begins on Monday, March 26th. You must have a current physical on file
in the main office to participate. Please sign up during your lunch
period this week.

2) Anyone interested in Chess Club, sign up with Mrs. Beau in the Cafeteria after school.
3) Sports Today - Girls Basketball...Jefferson vs. Drexler. 7th grade at Jefferson and 8th grade at Drexler; both games begin at 4 p.m.
4) Birthdays today - November 21st...Brandon White.
5) Students: please return TO THE LIBRARY any conversation circle novel you might have that you are no longer using. You will be charged for these items if they are not returned.

2) Anyone interested in Chess Club, sign up with Mrs. Beau in the Cafeteria after school.
3) Birthdays today - November 18th...Cody Hansen, Joseph Hoyne, Noah Sprimont, Donovan Wright. November 19th...Eryn Davis, Brianna Jones. November 20th...Gabrielle Kane Langel, Margaret Kratz, Martha Kratz, Salma Lindblom, Samantha Wieland.
Orchestra There will be no orchestra class or lessons for the rest of the week, November 16-18.
Fundraiser Pickup The fundraiser orders will be delivered to school on Thursday, November 17th. Each student order will be delivered to the students homebase. Students will need to go to their homebase classes before they go home and pick up the orders to be delivered. If students are not able to take the orders home on Thursday they will need to take them home by Friday. Students may also have parents come and pick up the orders on Thursday afternoon or after 10:00 am on Friday.

2) Anyone who ordered a sweatshirt and/or sweatpants, you can stop by the main office and pick them up. You must have paid already or pay before you take items with you. If you would like to order a sweatshirt or sweatpants, stop by the main office to order.
