4) Anyone who hasn't turned in their basketball uniforms, needs to do it asap or you will be charged.
5) 6th Grade Boys Basketball will practice today from 2:35-4:00 p.m.
6) The following students will be representing Jefferson today for the district wide Battle of the Books! We will be leaving Jefferson at 9:00 and returning at approximately 12:30 p.m. (6th Grade: Brianna Fry, Evan Wieser, Steven Blosch, Lyssie Ahern, Jeni McGlynn); (7th Grade: Carrie Klein, McKenna Johnson, Annika Hogstrom, Tori Cose, Emily Schleter); and (8th Grade: Grant Davis, Kyle Begle, Salma Lindblom, Antonia Naab).
7) Leap Zip Line will be tomorrow, April 4th.
8) Play practice today from 2:30 to 4 p.m. for All Leads.

3) Hempstead Fall Cheerleading mandatory preseason tryout meeting has been canceled and so have the April tryouts. These will be rescheduled for a time in May, listen for announcements.
4) Birthdays Today - March 23rd...Herbert Evans, Miguel Segura. March 24th...Jenna Behke, Haley Cavanaugh, Chrisopher Hanson, Jose Montoya.
5) Attention Battle of the Books teams! Please go to the library with your team to take the school battle quiz. This must happen anytime of the day before Friday March 23th.
6) A reminder from the library, if you checked out a book before spring break it is now due. Please stop in and return or renew them! Thank you from Ms Cairns and Mrs. Neyens.

5)Attention all 7th grade students...The Visiting Nurses Association (VNA) will have a FREE Dental Sealant Program at Jefferson in the auditorium tomorrow, March 23. This includes a dental exam and application of preventive dental sealants. Consent forms are still available in the Nurses Office and must be completed and returned to the Nurses Office by this Thursday, March 22. Please contact the Nurses Office if you have any questions.

12) The Dubuque Arts Council is sponsoring a free concert by The Kipperton String Quartet, who is finishing it's residency this week, on Friday night (March 23rd) at Loras College's Gallagher Hall, in the Visitation Building, corner of Alta Vista and University. They have a great program for students and the concert will be no exception.

2. A reminder from the library, if you checked out a book before spring break, it is now due. Please stop in and return or renew the book. Thank you. Ms. Cairns and Mrs. Neyens.
3. Attention Battle of the Books teams! Please go to the library with your team to take the school battle quiz. This must happen anytime of the day before Friday, March 23.

For the cast of Music Man: There is a music rehearsal every Thursday with Mrs. Oglesby in the choir room. All members of the cast are encouraged to attend. Eat your lunch from 11:00-11:25 and then head to the choir room. All major and minor cast members are supposed to bring their scripts with them to all choir rehearsals. Thank you.

4) Students involved in the cast and chorus of The Music Man will meet today from 11:30 to 12:55 in room 54. All of these musical students will eat lunch from 11:05 to 11:30.
