Tuesday, February 4, 2014 - Day A
1) Jefferson Wellness classes are participating in Live Healthy Iowa Kids again this year. The ten week challenge began Monday, January 27th. Students are to be recording their fruit servings and activity minutes for the first two weeks on their blue calendars. These are due February 11th to Mrs. Lucas and Mr. Wischmeyer. Any questions, please ask the Wellness teachers.
2) Students who want to participate in the 2014 Battle of The Books, please turn in your teams to Mrs. Duclos by Friday, February 7th!
3) Sports Today - Boys Gold Basketball...Jefferson Gold vs. Washington White. 7th grade at Jefferson and 8th grade at Washington; both games begin at 4 p.m.
4) If you wish to order a 2013-2014 Jefferson Middle School memory book, money will be accepted the week of February 3rd to 7th. The cost of the memory book is $12.00 and may be paid in the main office by cash or check. This is the last chance to order a memory book.
5) Birthdays Today - February 4th...Zachary Smith.
6) We have a great number of books that need to be returned to the LRC before bills are sent home to parents. The LRC would like you to check your backpacks, lockers and homes for overdue books. Thank you, Ms. Neyens and Ms. Duclos.
7) Mrs. Duggan is still waiting to hear from Marlonda Bell-Clark, Cassidy Smith, and Rowyn Olson. If you know these three girls, please tell them to see Mrs. Duggan! Thank you.
