Thursday, February 6, 2014 - Day A
1) Jefferson Wellness classes are participating in Live Healthy Iowa Kids again this year. The ten week challenge began Monday, January 27th. Students are to be recording their fruit servings and activity minutes for the first two weeks on their blue calendars. These are due February 11th to Mrs. Lucas and Mr. Wischmeyer. Any questions, please ask the Wellness teachers.
2) Students who want to participate in the 2014 Battle of The Books, please turn in your teams to Mrs. Duclos by Friday, February 7th!
3) If you wish to order a 2013-2014 Jefferson Middle School memory book, money will be accepted the week of February 3rd to 7th. The cost of the memory book is $12.00 and may be paid in the main office by cash or check. This is the last chance to order a memory book.
4) Birthdays Today - February 6th...Ashtan Carner, Elijiah Herrion.
5) The next rehearsal for Fiddler on the Roof is today for ladies with speaking parts and all men. Remember, you need to have zero F’s to be able to participate in the musical.
6) Here is an announcement for Fiddler on the Roof: The rehearsal calendar is posted on the auditorium door. Remember, everyone in the cast MUST attend rehearsals on the ALL CAST days. All cast members must attend all the rehearsals scheduled for next week. Check your grades in PowerSchool and see Mrs. Duggan if you are failing any class. Remember, you may take the activity bus home at 4:15 p.m. after rehearsals.
7) Sports Today - Boys Red Basketball...Jefferson Red vs. Mazzuchelli Blue. 7th grade at Mazzuchelli and 8th grade at Jefferson; both games begin at 4 p.m.
