Monday, February 24, 2014 - Day A
1) Jefferson Wellness classes are participating in Live Healthy Iowa Kids again this year. The yellow calendar began February 22nd and will go through March 7th. Students are to be recording milk servings and activity minutes on these calendars. The pink calendars are due right now to Mrs. Lucas and Mr. Wischmeyer. Any questions, please ask the Wellness teachers.
2) March 7th is our next school dance. In the spirit of “March Madness” we will have a 3 on 3 basketball tournament if we have enough teams sign up. There will be a boys and girls bracket, and if enough teams sign-up we will have grade level tournaments. Entry fee per team is $1.00. Sign-up in Mr. Hatcher’s office, now until March 6th. Teacher 3 on 3 teams are welcomed and encouraged. There will also be, a DJ for dancing, face painting, pizza and other treats, karaoke, and possibly a Connect-4 tournament for prizes. Remember if you had 3 or more office referrals between December 6th (last dance) through March 7th you are not allowed to attend.

4) Remember to collect all the Box Tops you can for the February Competition. All Box Tops are due by February 28th.
5) This message is for the Cast of Fiddler on the Roof. Everyone in the cast must come to rehearsal on every Wednesday until Spring Break. We need everyone!!!! Let people know!!! Tell your friends!!!!
6) Sports Today - Boys Red Basketball...Jefferson Red vs. Roosevelt Black. 7th grade at Roosevelt and 8th grade at Jefferson; both games begin at 4 p.m.
7) Jefferson's Dance Team will perform this afternoon at the boys basketball game.
