1) Do you like to design and create? Are you a team player? Do you want to learn how to program a robot? Do you like Legos? If you answered yes to all questions, we want you to join First Lego League. Practices will be from 11:55-12:55 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Our team will compete at Washington Middle School on December 8th. For more information or to sign up, please see Ms. Weber in the guidance area. Our first practice will be Monday, October 22nd. Only 10 members will be selected, so if you are interested, sign up as soon as possible.
2) The following girls still need to turn in volleyball uniforms: Diana Anrak, Cheyann Wharton, Valea Collins, Marlonda Bell, Brytnee O’Hara, Demetria Mims, Megan Lynch, Maddi Oneill, Jordyn Heiderscheit, Rebecca Schueller, Tia Burns, McKenzie Updike, and Kiara Stephenson. Turn uniforms into Mr. Hatcher ASAP.
3) Anyone interested in signing up for wrestling, go to the main office and sign up. Wrestling practice begins on Monday, October 22nd.
4) Cross Country...Heather Dean, Jordan Heiderscheit, and Noah Sabers still need to turn in their uniforms to Mrs. Meyer.
5) Our fundraiser has begun! The first turn-in will take place on Tuesday, October 23rd. You don't want to miss out on all the fun activities! For 3 items...you will get to play cookies and cream and may have a chance to be in the cream pie tootsie roll contest. If you turn in 10 items you will be going on the Kalahari Trip plus you will spin the wheel of fortune to win some money to spend at the Kalahari Trip. For 15 items you will have your choice of a wall chart level A prize or another spin on the wheel of fortune where you will win even more money to spend at the Kalahari Trip! Don't forget that all internet orders will count double toward wall chart prizes! Internet orders are a quick and easy way to ask your relatives and friends that are out of town to help support your school by buying a magazine or home delivered product. Log onto www.aphearst and register as a student. You can send out as many emails as you want. If you sent out 7 emails from this website before the first turn-in you will play cash cube to win some extra cash. If you need more supplies, please ask in the main office.
