1) Today is a Day A.
2) All Students are reminded to be logging their physical activity minutes and screen time (t.v., computer, video games) daily to turn into their wellness teachers for Live Healthy Iowa kids.
3) There is no Orchestra class or string lessons today. there will be string lessons tomorrow as scheduled.
4) 8th grade baseball tryouts for Hempstead will take place from Monday, April 30th through Tuesday, May 8th from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Core Field.
5) Our final dance for the school year will be held Friday, April 20th, from 2:30-4:30 PM. Wristbands are $3 and will be sold at all lunches on the day of the dance. An ID is required for the dance. Replacement IDs can be purchased in the main office next week every day but Friday. Concessions will be available for purchase, including bake sale items and root beer floats. The theme for this dance is neon and tie dye. Student Government is sponsoring a dodge ball tournament which will be held at the dance on Friday, April 20th. Sign up with a team of 7-10 members. The cost to participate in dodge ball is $1 per person. If you are interested in having a dodge ball team with your friends, you will need to sign up by THURSDAY, APRIL 19th at 2:30 PM. No teams will be allowed to sign up at the dance. Your homebase teacher has details on how to sign up for the dodge ball tournament.
6) 6th grade boys basketball will practice tonight from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m.
7) Music Man rehearsal today for All Lead from 2:30-4:00 p.m.
