2) All Students are reminded to be logging their physical activity minutes and water/milk servings daily to turn into their wellness teachers for Live Healthy Iowa kids.
3) Hempstead Fall Cheerleading will have a mandatory preseason tryout meeting on Monday, March 26th at 6:30 p.m. in the Hempstead Auditorium. Any questions please contact Coach Kress at 552-8027.

5) After school rehearsals for The Music Man will resume for ALL CAST MEMBERS on Tuesday, March 20 from 2:30-4:00 pm. Remember, if you cannot attend a rehearsal, then you must give Mrs. Duggan or Mrs. Steffen a written note from a parent prior to the rehearsal. See you on Tuesday!
Attention all 7th grade students...The Visiting Nurses Association (VNA) will have a FREE Dental Sealant Program at Jefferson in the auditorium this Friday, March 23. This includes a dental exam and application of preventive dental sealants. Consent forms are still available in the Nurses Office and must be completed and returned to the Nurse's Office by this Thursday, March 22. Please contact the Nurse's Office if you have any questions.
6th Grade Basketball 6th grade basketball begins on Wednesday, March 21st. Practice is held after school from 2:30-4:00 pm. Girls practice on Mondays and Wednesdays and boys practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You need to have a physical on file in the office and you need to passing all of your classes to participate.
7th and 8th grade boys and girls track begins on Monday, March 26th. Practice is held after school from 2:30-4:00 pm. You need to have a physical on file in the office and you need to passing all of your classes to participate.
