Student Announcements - Thursday, December 1, 2011 Day A
1) Today is a Day A.
2) Attention students...Do you have a talent such as singing, playing an instrument, or dancing? Auditions for this year's talent show will be after school on December 14th or 15th from 2:45-4:00. If you are interested in trying out for the show, you should prepare an act and come to one of the after school times and present your act to the panel of judges. We are not able to put all of the acts in the final show, so the judges rate the acts on whether they are interesting and show preparation and talent. All acts should be between 1 and 4 minutes long and contain nothing that is offensive. You can pick up specific guidelines from Ms. Baumann or Ms. Roussel in the guidance office. For those acts needing accompanying music, there will be a computer with internet access available during the auditions.
3) Sports Today...Girls Basketball - Washington Blue vs. Jefferson. 7th grade at Washington and 8th grade at Jefferson; both games begin at 4 p.m. Wrestling - Jefferson vs. Washington vs. Mazzuchelli vs. Roosevelt at Roosevelt beginning at 4 p.m.
4) Friendly reminder to all that the PBS contest for t-shirt designs are due to Mrs. Hefel-Busch today.
5) Report Card Envelopes Please remember that you need to return your signed report card envelope to your homebase teacher by Friday, December 2nd.
6) Used Shoe Drive TJMS will be holding a shoe drive from December 1st to December 20th. Bring all of your old athletic shoes to the main office. All of the shoes will be taken to a Nike plant and recycled. If you have any questions please contact Emily Schleter, House 7-1.
