2) The Bling Sorority Kids would like to invite all to bring in cat, dog or any kind of pet food to help us during our Pet Food Drive. Please drop off your goods to the Library. We need the help of Hillhawk families to make this food drive a success.
3) Girl’s basketball will start Monday, October 13th at 2:30 in the North Gym. Please wear workout clothes and basketball shorts. You must have an updated concussion form and physical on file to participate.
4) October 17th will be our first dance of the school year! Music, gym games, face painting, karaoke, dancing, pizza, snacks, connect-four, and more! See you there HillHawks!
5) Are you ready to bring your Hillhawk pride on our first Spirit Day of the year? Today is our first Spirit Day! On Friday, your morning homebase teacher will be counting each student in class who is wearing any Jefferson or Hillhawk apparel to earn Hillhawk Pride Points. This is a school-wide competition taking place EVERY FRIDAY in October! On October 31 we will announce the grade with the most Hillhawk Pride Points and they will be crowned the October Spirit Day champions! Do you think your grade has what it takes? Get your Hillhawk Pride On!
6) Volleyball girls are reminded to turn your uniforms in to the main office or your coach. Do this before Friday October 10th or you will be charged.
7) We will be celebrating "National School Lunch Week" from Monday, October 13th to Friday, October 17th. We encourage students to wear their favorite sports attire all week! Get in the game with school lunch! This years theme is about encouraging students to find a balance between healthy eating and physical activity. It recognizes the importance of eating well and getting active!
8) Wellness classes will be running the mile on Monday and Tuesday next week. Come prepared to do your best!
Jefferson Site Council The Thomas Jefferson Middle School Site-Council will have it's first meeting at 5:30 pm on October 13th in the Jefferson Middle School Library. Meetings will be held one Monday each month. We are looking for parents, students and community members that would like to serve on this Council.
