1) Birthdays Today - January 16th...Logan Ellingboe, Evan Hanson, Jayna Hickmon.
2) Any female HillHawk basketball player who has not turned in their uniform to main office, do so immediately to prevent a charge being added to your student account.
3) All Female HillHawk basketball players have the opportunity to attend a Hempstead varsity game for free and be recognized at halftime, see Mr. Hatcher for more details. Game will be January 28th, Tuesday night at 6 p.m.
4) Bring in all of the boxtops you have been saving to your homebase teacher by February 28th for a chance to win a prize. 1st place homebase earns a pizza party. 2nd place homebase earns ice cream treats.
5) Boys basketball players will be recognized this Friday night at Moody gym before the Mustangs Varsity Basketball team takes on Waterloo. HillHawks are reminded to be at the game by 7 p.m. and sit together. Your admittance is free, courtesy of the Hempstead Boys Basketball Program.
DBQ Sports and Recreation Festival Saturday, January 18, 2014 9-3 at the Grand River Center the Dubuque Sports & Recreation Festival, free admission, many activities and events include speed stacking and registration for spring/summer sports.
