3) Hempstead Fall Cheerleading tryouts will be Tuesday, April 30th - Wednesday, May 1st - and Thursday, May 2nd from 5:30-9 p.m. in the Dunham wrestling room at Hempstead High School. 5) "Opening Day" for Zipline will be April 24th. We will schedule 6 days for each school instead of the proposed 9 days. Many students have already participated and it is reasonable to aim for 15 students for each trip with an emphasis on "first-timers." Dates will be: Wednesday, APRIL 24, April 26, April 29, May 1, May 3, and May 6. Rain dates will be made up if possible.
6) Our discount card fundraiser starts today! By selling these cards, TJMS will be able to purchase technology for students to use in the classroom! Students will be able to pick up cards starting on Thursday, April 11th. If you sell your 3 cards and need more, just stop in the office and request more to sell! The more you sell, the more technology we can purchase for students to use! These Discount Cards sell for $10 and include great discounts on items and services from over 20 local businesses!
