Student Announcements - Tuesday, February 26, 2013 Day A
1) Remember to keep track of your activity minutes and vegetable servings for Live Healthy Iowa. 7th and 8th graders need to record on their yellow calendars, and 6th graders need to record in their agendas.
2) Attention battle of the books participants, please send the captain of your team to the LRC to receive more information about the upcoming battle for your team. See Mrs. Neyens.
Food at School Mr. Kramer would like to remind all students that we do not allow food to be consumed at school outside of breakfast, lunch and after school LEAP times. Food also includes candy products. We do allow students to chew gum and ask that you do this responsibly by throwing wrappers in the garbage and wrapping your used gum in a piece of paper or tissue and dispose of it in a garbage can not a recycling bin. Food or candy are not to be sold at school. This is a violation of the Dubuque Community School District policy. No items of any kind can be sold at school unless they are being sold as a "school" activity.
