Student Announcements - Friday, February 15, 2013 Day A
1) Remember to keep track of your activity minutes and fruit servings for Live Healthy Iowa. 7th and 8th graders need to record on their yellow calendars, and 6th graders need to record in their agendas.
2) Last Call - Last Day To Order...It is time to order the 2012-2013 memory book. If you have not already ordered one and would like one, bring $12 to the business office and a memory book will be reserved for you. Extra memory books will not be available for sale at the end of the year.
3) Any student caught throwing snow on the way to school, on the way home from school, on or around school property before or after school can be charged. Do not participate in this activity.
4) Students are reminded if you are not out for dance or basketball you are not permitted to be in locker rooms after school.
5) No students are to be wondering the halls after dismissal bell. At 2:45pm hallways are to be clear, students are not permitted to wait in hallways for a basketball game to start. If you want to come to the game, you must leave the building then come back at 4 p.m.
6) Students need to switch from recording their fruit servings to recording their vegetable servings on Sunday, February 17th.
7) Sports Today - Boys Red Basketball...Jefferson Red vs. Drexler Red. 7th grade at Jefferson and 8th grade at Drexler; both games begin at 4 p.m.
8) Birthdays Today - February 15th...Kelli Carter, Jeanette McGlynn. February 16th...Kevin George. February 17th..Eric McDonough.
Morning Arrival The main entrance to the school will be open at 7:30 am each morning unless it is raining, snowing or the temperature is below 20 degrees. Students will not be permitted to enter the building before 7:30 am unless they have a prearranged appointment with a teacher or administrator. Please make sure you are dressed warm enough to stand outside if you arrive at school before 7:30 am.
