2) Sign up and informational forms are available in the main office for Boys and Girls Club 3-on-3 basketball tournament scheduled for Saturday, May 26th.
3) Any 7th graders who are interested in being peer helpers for Special Olympics next school year, please come to the North gym for a meeting with Mrs. Lucas today at 12:30.
4) Color Guard Spin Practice/Tryouts for Hempstead is on Thursday, May 24th from 6 to 9 p.m. Any questions please call Mr. Dowe at 552-5292.

Bully Movie Free admission is available to the Bully movie for all Jefferson students on the following dates and times. The Riverview Center staff and volunteers will be at the door handing out tickets. Students need only show their school ID and they will be given a ticket, t-shirt, and the first 800 student tickets to "Bully" will get a free backpack. This is a PG 13 movie. Anyone under the age of 13 will need to be accompanied by an adult. IBM Summer Camp IBM is looking for students to participate in their summer camp. The camp is a 4 day camp at the end of July. Students will have the opportunity to explore many areas such as: Straw Tower Engineering, Kaleidoscope Building, DNA Experimentation, Building a Light Bulb, Electronic Scrapbooking Circuit Building, Lego Robotics, And More! If you are interested please sign up in the office. Only 5 boys and 5 girls from Jefferson will be able to attend so if you are interested get sign-up soon. The camp is open to 6-8th graders.
Girls Summer Tennis GIRLS MIDDLE SCHOOL SUMMER TENNIS HEMPSTEAD HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS COURTS EVERY TUESDAY MORNING beginning Tuesday, June 5, 2012 ONE HOUR SESSIONS: 9-10am for Grades 6 and 7, 10-11am for Grades 7 and 8 THE PROGRAM IS FREE PARTICPANTS SHOULD BE PHYSICALLY FIT AND REASONABLY ATHLETIC, HAVE THEIR OWN TENNIS RACQUET, AND A GOOD PAIR OF TENNIS SHOES If you are interested please sign up in the main office.
