Thursday, August 29, 2013 Day B


1) Any 6th grade student interested in participating in Track and Field, make sure you have a physical and concussion form on file with the main office. 6th grade track will start September 3rd.

2) Get your LEAP registration forms turned into the main office ASAP. LEAP programs are first come first serve.

3) Birthdays Today - August 28th...Bailey Otting, Grace Specht. August 29th...Patrina Livai, Marvin Oberbroeckling.

4) Attention...Any student that is in Band - Orchestra - Choir and do not want to be in it, please let Mr. Lehman know by Friday, August 30th. If he is not notified you will be stuck in that class until the end of the 1st Trimester.

Student Announcements - Tuesday, August 27, 2013 Day B

Due to excessive heat, all Dubuque Schools will be dismissing 2 hours early.  There are no after-school sports practices on any early release days.

1) Any 6th grade student interested in participating in Track and Field, make sure you have a physical and concussion form on file with the main office. 6th grade track will start September 3rd.

3) Birthdays Today - August 27th...Daron Collins, Rigo Ibarra, Addison Kalb.

4) Bus 821, which was in the front of the building, will now load students from the back of Jefferson.

5) Picture Day is Wednesday, August 28th. You will be photographed even if you are not purchasing any pictures. If you need a picture packet, please stop by the main office for one.

2) We have not received many boxtops or Swiss Valley milk caps since the beginning of the year, if you have any at home please turn them in before the end of the year. Please make sure you save them this summer they really help get materials for the school.

3) Mr. Hatcher has summer camp information for any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade student interested in boys basketball, girls basketball, volleyball, and swimming. Stop by his office to pick up information.

4) 8th grade football players get your player profiles into Mr. Hatcher for coach Mac, ASAP. If you need another copy see Mr. Hatcher. 

Lots of lost and found items in the lunchroom, take the time to go through and see if you’re missing anything.

Tuesday, June 4, 2013 Day A

3) Mr. Hatcher has summer camp information for any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade student interested in boys basketball, girls basketball, volleyball, and swimming. Stop by his office to pick up information.

4) It has come to be that time of year again…”End of the year locker clean out!” Students should plan to take everything home and return all school books they have checked out. Tuesday, June 4...11:00-11:30 -- 8th Grade. For those students who don’t remember their combinations, Mrs. White and I will be circulating through the hallways. Garbage cans will be placed strategically throughout the building. Please help monitor that only appropriate materials go into recycling containers.

Fundraiser Any student that still has not turned in money or unsold discount cards must do so as soon as possible. If you have not turned in the money or unsold cards by May 31st this charge will be billed to your parents. The raffle for prices will be held next week. You can still get chances for the raffle if you submit money by Tuesday, May 28th.
