1) 6th Grade Boys Track will practice today.

2) Birthdays Today - September 9th...Alex Lynch, Adria Schumacher. September 10th...Calinda Avenarius, Taylor Cota, Tristan Dirth, Andres Flores.

3) We would like to remind students that still have books that were checked out at the beginning of the school year, they are now overdue and need to be returned.

4) Any 6th grade boy interested in participating in a wrestling club, sign up through LEAP today! See Mrs. Beau after school in cafeteria, or Mr. Morehouse during the day if you are interested.

5) Mock Trial will be meeting today at 11 AM in the Auditorium.  

6)  Lego League will be meeting on Thursday:  6th grade during Pd 0 and 7th/8th grade during Period 4.  Both groups meet in the auditorium.

2) Sports Today - Girls Gold Volleyball...Jefferson Gold vs. Roosevelt Purple. 7th grade at Roosevelt and 8th grade at Jefferson; both games begin at 4:00 p.m.

3) Sports Today - 8th Grade Football...Jefferson Gold vs. Washington Blue at Jefferson starting at 4:15 p.m.

4) Sports Today - 8th Grade Football...Jefferson Red vs. Mazzuchelli at Mazzuchelli starting at 4:15 p.m.

5) LEAP programs have started. Check the bulletin board by the cafeteria for more information. Homework help is available every day after school.

Evacuation Drill Thank you for your cooperation during yesterday's evacuation drill. Always remember that these drills are serious and that we practice them so we are prepared in case there is an emergency.

4) Mock Trial will be meeting in the Auditorium during Period 4, 11:00-11:35. Students have been nominated to participate and will receive passes from their homebase teacher. If you didn't receive a pass and would like to find out more about mock trial, come to the Auditorium during Period 4. This is a 7th and 8th grade activity.

4) Attention to all parents attending extra-curricular activities at Drexler Middle School. Starting the in the Fall of the 2014 school year, Western Dubuque Schools will be charging parents $3.00, and children $1.00 to attend all middle school athletic events.
